Bridget Bolliger  

Bridget Bolliger
FLUTE

Bridget Bolliger studied initially at the Sydney Conservatorium High School, then in Basel, Switzerland, for a Soloist Diploma, during which time she won numerous awards and competitions. She currently teaches flute at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and is the founding member of the New Sydney Wind Quintet and the Sydney Chamber Music Festival. Andrew Bain    

Andrew Bain
HORN

Andrew Bain studied horn at the Elder Conservatorium, Adelaide, and then in Europe (Karlsruhe and Vienna). He is currently Principal Horn with the QSO and at the Colorado Festival, and lectures in Horn at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. in his career to date he has played with orchestras in Australia, Germany, and Malaysia.  Read full biography...

Alexandre Oguey  

Alexandre Oguey
OBOE

Alexandre Oguey is Swiss-born and studied oboe at the Zurich Conservatorium. He has won numerous competitions in Europe, and has performed throughout Europe as a member of various chamber groups and orchestras (Bayreuth, Swiss National, Luzern, Winterthur, and Zurich). He is currently Principal Cor Anglais with the SSO and teaches oboe at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.  Read full biography...

Andrew Barnes  

Andrew Barnes
BASSOON

Andrew Barnes studied with Peter Wentzel, Marion Stanley, and John Cran in Australia, Kim Walker in Geneva, and at the Indiana School of Music for Performance Diploma. Currently at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, he lectures in bassoon and is Chair of the Woodwind Department. He also works with the SSO, TSO, Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, and the Sydney Philharmonic Orchestra. Read full biography...

Frank Celata  

Frank Celata
CLARINET

Frank Celata graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts and then studied in Italy and Holland. He is currently Associate Principal Clarinet with the SSO, teaches clarinet at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and will be guest with the London Symphony Orchestra this year. In his career he has performed as soloist with several Australian orchetras, and in the USA, has founded the Philharmonic Chamber Soloists.
